Biblical Counseling That Is Accessible and Sustainable
Ancient Words Biblical Counseling seeks to provide thoughtful, Scripture-centered counseling while keeping fees as reasonable as possible. Counseling requires preparation, prayer, study, and dedicated time both during and outside of each session. The following fee ranges help support that work while allowing some flexibility according to individual circumstances.
Individual Biblical Counseling
$75–$100 per 50-minute session
Individual counseling provides a confidential setting to talk through the struggles, suffering, relationships, decisions, patterns of sin, or spiritual questions you are facing. Together, we will seek to understand your circumstances through Scripture and consider practical ways to respond with faith, wisdom, and obedience to Christ.
Marriage & Premarital Counseling
$100–$125 per 50-minute session
Marriage and premarital counseling focuses on understanding marriage according to God’s design and applying biblical truth to communication, conflict, forgiveness, expectations, intimacy, roles, decision-making, and growing together in Christ.
Family Biblical Counseling
$125–$150 per 50-minute session
Family counseling provides an opportunity to address difficulties affecting the family as a whole. Counseling may include parents, adult family members, or other appropriate participants as we seek biblical understanding, reconciliation, wisdom, and healthier patterns of relating to one another.
What Determines the Fee?
Fees are offered within a range because Ancient Words desires to make biblical counseling accessible while also sustaining the ministry. The appropriate fee will be discussed before counseling begins so that there are no surprises or uncertainty about cost.
Financial Difficulty
Financial circumstances should not prevent someone from asking for help. If the regular counseling fee would create a significant financial hardship, please mention this when requesting counseling. Reduced-fee arrangements may be available depending upon individual circumstances and the resources available to the ministry.
Insurance
Ancient Words Biblical Counseling does not bill insurance or participate with health-insurance plans. Ancient Words is a biblical counseling ministry and does not provide psychotherapy, psychological treatment, or licensed professional counseling services. Counseling fees are paid directly to Ancient Words Biblical Counseling.
